I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
